Arcam is Amsterdam’s centre for architecture and urban development, offering a diverse range of programs: from exhibitions and workshops to guided walks and talks. Arcam is housed in a striking modern building designed by architect René van Zuuk. The event space offers a unique panoramic view over the Oosterdok waterfront, including NEMO Science Museum and Het Scheepvaartmuseum. With its intimate and informal atmosphere, the venue is highly versatile and well suited for a wide range of events, including lectures, workshops, meetings, and more. The entire building can also be rented for photo shoots, film productions, and other creative setups.

Furniture & Layout

Our event space offers a flexible layout to suit a variety of setups. We provide seating for up to 70 to 80 guests, a movable bar, and all the technical facilities needed to make your event a success, including (wireless) microphones, a sound system, stage elements, a TV screen, high-speed Wi-Fi, presentation equipment, and adaptable lighting.

Set up & Vendor access window

Arcam offers ample time for set-up and breakdown before and after your event, provided no other events are scheduled in the building and arrangements are made in advance. We are happy to discuss specific timing requirements to accommodate your event needs.
